Although she doesn't like to eat cheese aside from on her pizza, she can name over 300 different types of them!
Three decades ago, there was a small, narrow cheese shop located at 149 Baldwin Street (where Jerk Spot is today). Ping Chiu, a film studies graduate took over the cheese store owned by an Italian couple who had enough of all their frommagio. This 20-odd-year-old entrepreneur named the shop Cheese Magic and for the past 26 years, it has been located at its current location at 182 Baldwin Street. Thanks to the support of customers, it continues to be one of Kensington Market's narrowest and most potent smelling stores today!
